YVN has been involved in shows and exhibitions over the last three years. Working with Home of Landscaping and Garden Design, YVN supplied plants for its landscape display at Gardening Australia Live Melbourne 2004 which was awarded a certificate of merit. In 2005 once again involved with Home of Landscaping and Garden Design which won a Gold medal for its garden "The Bridge", this featured the Ferndale fern range and contemporary grasses from our general lines.
In 2006 at the Melbourne International Flower and Garden show YVN was involved in three stands:
- cosponsoring the SAVEWATER stand which presented 5 styles of Garden featuring water saver plants produced at YVN.
- "Forest Retreat" display designed by Blue design Solutions and overseen by Jim Fogarty. The garden won a Gold medal for Best use of Plant life
- Stone by Design and Tessac stand featuring blood grass, Srelitzia,Cycads and other contemporary grasses
The nursery redevelopment is using savewater principals in its design and construction with a recycling dam, capillary matting and drip irrigation systems where possible.
